Grocery Certificates:

For many years, Green Mountain United Methodist Church has made grocery cards available every week to our members. The church purchases cards from both Safeway and King Soopers in rechargeable cards with initial denominations of $10 & $25. The cards are available to you at face value and after recharging, you can use them just like cash at the stores to purchase groceries, rent videos, buy ski tickets, etc. You may recharge the cards at your local Safeway or King Soopers store for any amount up to $500 each time you recharge. You must recharge first before any other transaction. You do not throw these cards away, but continue to recharge them. The church receives a check monthly on the amounts that are recharged. Funds from this program are not put into the line item budget, but are directed by Church Council into special projects such as The Action Center and Youth Scholarships. Since the inception of this program, we have raised over $200,000. Please add your support to this program.
