This class of (primarily) senior adults uses a
more traditional Sunday School curriculum
to discuss faith and life.
Are You Thinking What You Think You Are Thinking?
We are a curious species often centered in our heads. That mysterious few pounds of wrinkled tissue we call a “brain” seems the Ground Zero of our ideas, perspectives, theories, hopes, and dreams. But how aware are we of this amazing gift of “thinking” – do we form our viewpoints based on experience, or do we select our experience to fit our viewpoints. Or both? And can we actually “think about thinking” without being the dog chasing its tail? In the hope this journey will be playful – and at times profound – join us to explore our “thought” – with the help of Julian Baggini’s book, “Do You Think What You Think You Think?”
Front Room Ruminators meet every Thursday at 11:00 am in room #403 and then go out to lunch at Front Room Pizza.
